Originally from England's North West, I headed south at twenty and spent thirty-three years working in Public Service. When I retired, relatively young and still full of energy, I moved to France in 2001, where I set about renovating an old house and barn and taming the overgrown garden and field that came with them. That kept me physically fit, but I soon realised I needed something to keep the brain equally busy.

That spark arrived with my first venture into writing. Together with British and French friends, I helped form an amateur dramatics group with me as the playwright, staging dual-language, British-style pantomimes. Oh yes we did! Now that is behind me!

From there, I moved on to short stories, then novels and novellas. To date, I've written and published twelve of my own books and ghostwritten more than thirty for clients.

I've also written two screenplays, both optioned, both awaiting the elusive reliable backer to bring them to life on screen.

Writing has become the perfect balance to the rural French life I enjoy: creative, challenging, and endlessly rewarding.

My own novels and novellas range in genres from Victorian Romance, Historical Fiction to Contemporary Thrillers.

My ghostwritten work ranges from Supernatural, Fantasy, Thrillers and Romance.
